General Terms & Conditions

These General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) apply to all participants taking part in GLUE Utrecht – connected by design (the “Event”), organized by the Organizer.

1. Participation

Participation in the Event becomes final once the participation fee has been paid in full. The Event takes place in Utrecht on the officially communicated dates.

2. Participation Fee

The participation fee corresponds to the selected participation package. Fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise by the Organizer.

3. Responsibilities of the Participant

Participants are responsible for their own exhibitions, materials, staffing, insurance, and compliance with safety and legal regulations. Participants are liable for any damage or loss caused by their activities or materials.

4. Responsibilities of the Organizer

The Organizer provides overall coordination, promotion, and inclusion in the official program. The Organizer is not responsible for sales results, visitor numbers, or technical issues at participant or host locations.

5. Locations and Third Parties

Participants may exhibit at third-party host locations. Participation at such locations is at the participant’s own risk. Any agreements with host locations are made directly between the participant and the host location.

6. Use of Images and Content

Participants grant the Organizer permission to use images and content related to their participation for communication and promotional purposes, royalty-free and non-exclusive.

7. Liability and Risk

Participation is at the participant’s own risk. To the extent permitted by Dutch law, the Organizer is only liable in cases of intent or gross negligence and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Indemnification

Participants indemnify the Organizer against claims arising from their participation, including damage to host locations or third parties.

9. Changes and Force Majeure

The Organizer may modify, postpone, or cancel the Event due to force majeure without liability or refund obligation.

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These GTC are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

11. Acceptance

By completing payment, the participant agrees to these General Terms & Conditions.
