Marian Genet (1990, Amsterdam) is a multidisciplinary artist who is fascinated and deeply touched by the power of color. She makes tapestries, paintings, documentary photography and textile works. The emphasis is on color, energy and movement.

The unique human being is central in her work. Genet collects stories and experiences of people from all layers of society that give color to their lives and their environment. She translates these stories into her work. She tries to take the viewer along in an arrangement of positivity, femininity, sensuality, vulnerability, color, energy and movement. Her works are tactile, soft and full of energy.

Marian Genet wants to give the world more color with her art.
