The 2026 edition revolves around the overarching theme Disconnect to Connect. At a time when daily life is increasingly lived online, GLUE invites visitors to slow down and reconnect with the physical world. A route emerges that encourages visitors to discover the city through design — not through screens or algorithms, but through curiosity, presence and direct interaction. Bringing together both emerging talents and established names, the route creates space for new collaborations, inspiring exchange and knowledge sharing.
With this second edition, GLUE continues to build on its mission to connect designers, audiences and the city, making design visible as a unifying force — for and with each other. To turn this into a tangible message, this edition GLUE will be taking over the Ganzenmarkt square thanks to an exiting collaboration with Tap Out: Less scrolling, more everything else.
