Passersby walk past the De Bijenkorf storefront, where a sculptural installation immediately catches the eye. A cloud of red balloons floats in the space, each with its own face and character. They symbolize the individual creators and designers within the GLUE network.
A thin red line runs downward from each balloon. The lines converge in the center of the installation, forming a large red knot—the point where connection and collaboration come together.
From this knot, the lines fan out further and connect to a variety of design objects. The objects seem to rise slightly, carried by the GLUE network.
The storefront thus becomes a visual metaphor for the GLUE network: a community of creators connected through design. Together, they elevate creativity to a higher level.
The installation invites passersby to pause for a moment, spark their curiosity, and discover the designers behind the objects.
