EENVOUD ONTWERP

Her work begins with what is already there, residual materials, existing structures and overlooked resources. Rather than imposing form, she responds to material. Its properties, limitations and history guide the outcome. Forms are reduced to their essence, resulting in work that is tactile, precise and quietly present.

Alongside her design practice, Rabbinge initiates ECHO - From Residue to Form, a recurring exhibition presented during GLUE Utrecht. Each edition centres on a single industrial material. The first focuses on aluminium from local partner Nedal Aluminium, exploring how material can continue beyond its initial use.

Across her work, material is not treated as an end point, but as part of an ongoing cycle, where what remains becomes the starting point for something new.
