I create to transform how we engage with the world. Using biomaterials made from bioplastic and waste yarns, I craft pieces that challenge the notion of value and waste. Through weaving and other textile techniques, I breathe new life into discarded materials.Using light, depth is added to my work. Showcasing details in the material while also bringing light to stories that the pieces tell. My work is rooted in the mundane, like maps, finding inspiration in the overlooked details of daily life.
