For GLUE Utrecht 2025, Maaike presents two new series: the SHIFT TABLES and the POLY STOOL, both of which embody her core design values. Crafted from high-quality birch plywood and finished with linseed oil these pieces are minimalist yet warm. The SHIFT TABLES are modular and adaptable, featuring interchangeable tabletops made from circular materials, while the POLY STOOL combines geometric forms with everyday functionality. Their playful yet modest shapes make them suitable for a wide variety of interiors.
Both designs are developed with flexibility and clarity in mind. Their construction highlights the beauty of the material. The simplicity in shape allows for customisation in finish, inviting users to choose what suits their space.
