Bibliotheek Utrecht — Neude
Housed in a former post office dating from 1924, Bibliotheek Utrecht on the Neude is one of Utrecht's most striking buildings. Its grand parabolic hall — built in the Amsterdam School style was once a place of connection: the hub through which letters, telegrams and telephone calls linked people across the country and beyond.
For GLUE 2026, this historic hall becomes the setting for a commissioned installation by Kars + Boom. Rooted in our theme 'disconnect to connect', the work invites every visitor to contribute — creating a piece that evolves over the three days and reflects both the power of human connection and the role design can play in bringing people together.
